Shaad Oosman is a chartered professional accountant with a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He is currently the CFO at S2 Architecture, a full service architectural and interior design firm with studios in Calgary and Edmonton. He is responsible for the overall financial reporting, strategic planning and budgeting and forecasting for the firm. Shaad has been working in the architectural industry for over 15 years and along with this role has been actively involved in promoting sustainable initiatives at both the personal and professional levels.
Shaad joined the Board of Operation Eyesight in March 2017. He was elected treasurer in June 2017. “The gift of sight is only the beginning of what Operation Eyesight can bring to an individual’s life,” he says. “The ability to see leads to better educational opportunities, the ability to contribute to the family’s wellbeing, the empowerment of women, and the coming-together of communities with a common purpose. I’m excited to be a part of this transformational organization!”
Shaad Oosman is also currently on the board of the Calgary Waldorf School Society, and has formerly served as a board member of Sustainable Calgary. An outdoor enthusiast, he can be seen riding his bike to work in the summer, or cross country skiing with his family in the winter.
