Kris joins Operation Eyesight with over 30 years of progressive experience in the eye health sector, including 17 years with EssilorLuxottica. With proven expertise in both the optical industry and program development, Kris led the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation in Canada, where he directed impactful vision correction initiatives that positively changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of medically underserved people.
Based in Ottawa, Canada, Kris also brings a wealth of experience in professional and government relations. He has engaged in advocacy at various levels to prioritize visual health and the importance of eye care.
Kris’s strong strategic vision, program development skills, and ability to build collaborative relationships with ministries of health, eye hospitals, professional associations and government representatives make him an invaluable addition to the Operation Eyesight team. His leadership in developing multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments will be instrumental in driving continued growth and strengthening global partnerships.
A graduate of Carleton University with further studies in psychology and neuroscience, Kris’s dedication to personal and professional growth complements Operation Eyesight’s approach to sustainable impact and community engagement.
