World Sight Day is on October 14

This World Sight Day, we’re celebrating #LoveYourEyes and invite you to join us in the EVERYONE COUNTS Global Challenge. Alongside the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), we are asking everyone to pledge to have a sight test or care for their eyes. Together, we aim to receive a million pledges for people to have their eyes cared for.

Nearly everyone will experience an eye health issue in their lifetime, and more than a billion people do not have access to the eye care services they need. To ensure EVERYONE COUNTS, we need to not only think about our own eye health but raise awareness of those who do not have access to vision care. We are committed to ensuring EVERYONE COUNTS in our mission to prevent blindness and restore sight. Whether it’s community health workers in India knocking on every door in a community to identify those with eye health issues, or program staff travelling countless miles to help prevent trachoma in some of the most remote areas of Kenya, EVERYONE COUNTS
