So many people have been given the Gift of Sight already, thank you!

It’s been a long winter for most Canadians – and it still is for many of us, despite the calendar telling us it’s spring. Fortunately, we know that REAL spring will sweep in eventually!

Spring is a time of rebirth, and for the people we help in Africa and south Asia, being given the Gift of Sight after living in darkness is like being reborn.

This season, you can make a donation through Operation Eyesight’s Gift Guide that will give someone the chance to live a new life.

If you’re not sure where to start, here are a few options to help you decide how you want to help:

  • Being able to see the world in all its beauty is a gift you can share. Help others focus on the joys of every season with a $20 donation. Your gift will provide up to three people with brand-new, custom-fitted prescription eyeglasses.
  • Imagine what it would be like to be able to see the world around you for the first time after years of living with blindness! For just $50, you could provide sight-restoring cataract surgery for someone in Africa or south Asia.
  • Providing continuous care for people living with visual impairment doesn’t have to be overly-expensive – a little bit really does go a long way! Your donation of $100 will help train eye doctors, nurses and eye care technicians, so they can provide communities with quality eye care.

With any of the above gifts, you can also choose to make your donation in the name of a loved one, colleague, family member or friend. You can even send them a personalized Easter eCard to celebrate. Don’t delay, order now!

Thank you so much for your continued support. On behalf of the people your donations are helping, thank you for giving them a chance at a new life and a brighter future. We wish you and your family all the best during this turn of the season!
