Thanks to the generosity of Canadian donors and partners, Operation Eyesight advanced sight-saving care in 2025 while strengthening local eye health systems across Africa and South Asia. Your support helped fund screenings, surgeries, eyeglasses, hospital services, vision centres and community-based care, improving access to treatment and building a sustainable future for the communities we serve.
In 2025, Operation Eyesight received $6.54 million in revenue. This was lower than in 2024, largely because the previous year included exceptional legacy giving that did not repeat at the same scale, alongside fewer institutional funding opportunities. Even in a more constrained year, donor support continued to sustain critical eye health work for people and families who depend on it.
Total expenditures in 2025 were $9.2 million, including investments in programs, fundraising and administration. Because expenses exceeded current-year revenue, the organization drew on funds raised in prior years, along with funds designated for program delivery, so support already entrusted to us could be put to work as intended. This reflects our commitment to impact while maintaining the systems, oversight and accountability needed to steward every dollar responsibly.
