July 2023 | Iten County Referral Hospital Eye Unit
The opening of a new operation theatre at Iten County Referral Hospital’s Eye Unit in Kenya was made possible by Operation Eyesight’s global team of staff, volunteers, donors and partners. It was a landmark event for the community and received coverage by Kenya News Agency and Kass Media.

Charity Intelligence Canada named Operation Eyesight one of the Top 10 Impact Charities for the fifth consecutive year, and one of the Top 10 International Impact Charities for the third year in a row. This garnered us mentions in the Globe and Mail, MoneySense, and the Kingstonist.
July 2022 | Narok Mass Drug Administration (MDA)
Operation Eyesight partnered Sightsavers and the ministries of health in Kenya and Tanzania to distribute antibiotics to more than 1.3 million people with trachoma or at risk of developing the infection, providing much-needed treatment to communities along the Kenya-Tanzania border. The project received coverage from several news outlets across Kenya, including K24 TV, The Star, Look Up TV, China Daily and People Daily.
